   I adore it!

 Your first programmig language was probably Algol.  :)  (or Pascal or 
 Modula-2, depending upon your vintage). 
Pascal. But I did do some Mac programming in Modula-2 with MacMETH before
I graduated to CodeWarrior and FutureBASIC.
