Are there any pins coming out the side of the CRT neck

going to be the

There are no pins or connections coming out of the side of the neck of
the CRT.
Incidentally, how many connections are there to the base of the CRT?
Remember if it's electrostatic, there will have to be 4 for the
deflection
plates
[1] Two for the heater in all CRTs. So if you only
have
6 or 7 connecitons , it's not going to be electrostatic, there aren't
enough pins
for the electrodes.
There are a total of six pins used on the CRT.
Clearly, two of these are for the heater supply. If it's magnetic
deflection, via the coils on the neck of the CRT, what would the other
four connections at the end of the CRT be?
