Commodore had options to pass to Paula, either 140ns or 280ns. Which
was either 1/7 or 1/14 of the normal 2 microsecond bitcell....which
would be a 500khz data rate.
@Chuck: I'm certainly in no position to correct you, but did you mean
125ns here?
I'll have to look up how exactly the Amiga does it.
