The plan for
those is to drill out the holes, push in a resistor leg=20
flush with one side, solder on one side, cut and file flush on the other=20
side, then solder that side too. I figure that should be a tight enough=20
fit that the wire won't be going anywhere... and if that doesn't work=20
there's always 26SWG tinned copper wire.
I find (stripped) wire-wrap wire to be useful for this sort of thing.
It's thin, and soldered easily.
I think I've got some of that (though I'll be buggered if I can remember
where it is). 40AWG with either blue or green insulation, IIRC. Really
thin stuff.
