I've put some pictures online of the beast. after opening i discovered
that the tube is broken just behind the connector. :-(
Ouch!. That does not look like a particularly common CRT.
It seems that is was a vector screen, as the amplifiers for horizontal
and vertical are symmetrical and complete separate from the ht voltage
for the tube.
How much electronics is in the terminal? Is there anythign taht might be
the vector generator? Or does the interface conenctor carry the X and Y
(analogue) drive signals, from some external device?
