I didn't think to check Dilog, and from the state of their webpage
(broken links to button graphics, 403s on a documentation link...) I'm
not missing much. Good to see at least a sentence about many of their
products, though.

Yes. I will have to examine my boards carefully to see if they are
marked as SQ3703s, SQ3706s or SQ3709s.
If I'm understanding it right, the older boards (firmware?) are one or
the other, but the newer model handles mixed devices on the same bus.
