The caps from 1960s seem to be of little concern, and
those from past
1970 are of no concern. If the cap decides to die, its going to die.
I've had a beercan-sized cap (a proper UK 500ml beercan, not yer fiddly little
USian 300ml ones) in a radio transmitter dating from the 1960s blow in
spectacular fashion. To be fair, I suspect that a failing rectifier had
already administered the death blow to it.
