I did it once. I didn't remove anything and put it in the top rack keys
down.
It did a marvelous job of cleaning everything but I had to open up the
unit afterwards and dry it out as there was a lot of water inside.
I'd do it again for any common pc keyboard. The keyboard worked find
afterward and I'm still using it.
