What about someone with an 11/44?
(sorry, I've got teenagers; and they make keeping up with cctalk harder :-)
I have an 11/44 as well, so I do plan to test with it. I originally
began my testing on the 11/44 and found that the unibus transactions
were a little "odd" and it was *very* sensitive to bus timing and timed
out very quickly, which was frustrating. I switched to the 11/34a this
time thinking it would be a little more traditional and a little slower.
What I saw on the 11/44 may have all been due to my bugs, however, so I
will have another go at it shortly. My other unibus machine is an
11/730 and I'll give that try as well. If I can get all three to work
then there is hope I can get it to work with a KS-10 (which I don't own)
- my guess is will be the fastest and least forgiving.
I found my cache of new-in-the-tube unibus interface chips the other day
- time to make an inventory.
