When I was cleaning out the old Brunswich 78 RPM wind-up record player
my Father gave me a couple of years ago, I found two records that had
been cut off the back of a Wheaties box. They were cowboy songs (of
course), and were quite probably cut out by my Father when he was a
young boy.
As far as needles go, I've found a place on the net where you can order
brand new (!) acoustic record player needles in a variety of grades. If
I can find the URL again, I'll post it here.
