This description matches the expansion slots on a standard HP-41.
What's with the rubber case, I wonder? Some sort of protective cover
like the ones available for most mobile phones?
It's possible that the functions on the buttons are "non-standard" - I
should at least have taken a photo :-/ It looked like it was very
much
part of the device, not something that would come off easily, and
it had
"proper" HP labelling on the back.
Hmm, very interesting indeed. I wonder what that was.
