I'd set the disk on a flat surface and use swabs. Little
of the media came off, only the goo.
I'll repeat what I said before--if the binder is compromised (you'll
know it by the "squeal" when you try to read one of these things--that's
the sound of the oxide peeling off and fouling things), bake the naked
cookies at 130 F for about a day. Often that will get you a read or two
before the diskette self-destructs.
I've even done this to get a good read out of old Wabash floppies.
