40 years ago, there used to be some Saabs in USA with three cylinders and
drivers scrambling under the dash to disenage the freewheeling device.

SAAB replaced the two-stroke engine in the 1967 manufacturing year with
a 4-cylinder
V-engine from Ford Taunus.
