Errr, right. But I have a bit of a different definition of "feature". ;)
I often consider a system booting to be a feature. ;)
I don't need a network-transparent GUI. I'm
sure it's a great thing,
but in some 20y of using systems with X.11 available, I've /never/
needed that.
But don't assume that's true of everyone. I've used it DAILY, all
day, every day, no joke, since about 1991. My workflows for nearly
everything would be severely impacted if that ability were to suddenly
go away. (which, thankfully, it won't) -Dave
