I've wanted to get into AS/400 stuff for a long time, but have passed
on several opportunities for free or cheap hardware because of the
lack of software. I really wish IBM would do a hobbyist program
along the lines of the one HP does for VMS. Hercules with MVS 3.8j
is nice, but it would be nice to have the OS/400 stuff and the layered
products too.
