While I don't know if this is actually useful
information
as I have not attempted to build any (yet), but this site
has information on a replacement G888 board:
http://svn.so-much-stuff.com/svn/trunk/Eagle/projects/DEC/Gxxx/G888/
If anyone gets around to making some of the these before I
do, please let me know. I would be interested in the results
and some bare boards.
Those drawings are some of my early work, and there's a fair
amount that's sub-optimal about them. At the least, they are
totally untested.
These days, my methodology is to do "replica" boards first,
mimicing the DEC layout as closely as possible, *then* work on
the substitution of modern parts. This catches a lot more
errors, and also results in the use of better design rules, etc.
Let me know if you need to build boards anytime soon, and
I'll work on updating the CAD drawings. (Otherwise it will likely
be months before I get to it.)
