laptops and 5.25 inch floppy drives?

Maybe I didn't dismantle my usb unit (Mad-dog) enough. I only see 4 wires. I was lead to believe most of these things are indeed "real" floppies anyway, but I'll have to do more inspection. I don't know if they can be converted for use with a 5.25" drive, though." Right, but again I doubt these things would even respond to INT 10h and 27h, much less a lower level of access.
