Horrible
screen burn -- the computer was used in an
industrial setting and always displayed the same
screen.
Wouldn't a CRT replacement be simpler? IIRC, it's probably one of the 7 pin ('Modified B7G
Base')
versions. You can get one
from an old PC mono monitor....
That had been my initial plan, but the S/23 is 8-pin.
Also, given that everything inside is glued together,
it's seemed easier to do it the factory way.
