Useless Serial Botch is not Universal, and is not a "Bus".
But it is wonderful!
Some of it's dozen or so "standard" connectors have become the
"standard"
for charging various toys, such as cellphones! So long as I have all of
the different "standard" connectors for it, I never need to rummage
through the rooms full of coax barrel wallwarts!
And what other computer interface will interface to a fan, an inadequate
cup heater (Jeri Ellsworth's ex-CD-ROM cup holder is better), a
flashlight, or animatronic humping dogs and pole-dancers?
I need to check on the power requirements of a ZX!
Maybe I can power it off of a USB port!
(Stock supply is 9V at more than an amp,
but how much of that is losses due to regulating it down to 5V?)
[Is that what you were looking for?]
