Possibly, but it looks to me more like that set of addresses failed
to respond at all. Bad chip or bad socket.
The unit is a PPC 604e with 512MB of parity DIMMs,
just installed last week.
IBM-approved RAM? In my experience with the 604 family, installing
memory that's not approved FRUs is extremely likely to be a problem.
