I have been sitting on my front porch when the "unsuccessful delivery
attempt" incremented. It happens a lot more in the late fall, when they
have more temporary flakes.
That?s...absurd.

My REGULAR USPS guy is great. Therefore, he will be retiring very soon.
The current USPS guy here seems pretty dedicated to getting stuff here. Same with FedEx
and UPS...they?ve delivered packages at nearly 9pm before. We once got the USPS mail at
8:30...
A carrier here once told us our mailbox was too
low and it was an
inconvincenience for him to put mail in it...
30 years ago, had a USPS delivery guy who refused to deliver anything for
anybody not labelled ON THE MAILBOX, including "C/O"s for houseguests, and
he "Returned to sender" a correctly addressed wedding invitation from my
ex. (THAT redeemed him a little)
Wow. It may help here that this is a city of 32,000 people...
I blame Nixon for why it's so broken and
mismanaged.
seconded!
But most/all other prez's further contributed to the problems.
True. I still say the postmaster general and board should be directly elected instead of
presidentially appointed...
