Using IBM APL on the University of New Brunswicks System 370
was what got me "hooked" on interactive computing, and it has
been a favorite of mine ever since.
Hm - looking over the shoulder of Ken Iverson as he typed in his APL
program convinced me that it would not be the programming language for me.
On the other hand, it was the first time I saw somebody older than myself
developing faster than me. Now that I?m an Old Phart, I am even more
impressed by what he was doing at the time since my coding speed has long
since decreased in proportion to the number of blunders I have learned
from.
