Sure the resolution is much lower than we'd expect
now (it's 40*8 text
characters, for example), but I've always found the M100 display to be
easy to read and _ideal_ for use when entering small-ish amounts of text.
The M100 is one of those products that was well-designed to solve a real
problem. The built-in programs (particularly the text editor and terminal
emulator) are what many people really _need_.
Except when you _need_ a bigger screen & better cursor keys... that's why I
love my Tandy 200! ;-)
