The magnetic characteristics of 5.25" media are
very different
between 2D and HD recording modes. I wouldn't recommend mixing
things up. 2D on 2D media; HD on HD media.
Ture enough. But I assumed he as goign to be useing a PC-type HD drive
(lik the original IBM 1/2M drive) and thus would be using the correct
write crurent. In which case the coercivity difference is catered for.
