OK. Can't help on the PERQ display. But the CCD can scan color. Just
do
thre scans with red, green and blue light... If you have an enlarger
with dichoritic color head it will be the perfect light source.

Sure. The minilab is much more
efficient. But not as much fun. ;-)
The quality of my slides exceeds the resolution of
this device...
Slides exceed the resolution of most digital cameras. You have to
come
up with at least 20 MP to mach a good 35 mm slide.
