One thing that I forgot to mention in my earlier
msessag eis that the
tape is differnet to that found in audio compact cassettes (I believe the
data tapes have a higher coercivity). So nothcing the shells of audio
cassettes is unlikely to produce reliable data tapes.
High-quality VHS video tape? Or Metal cassetes?
