> I'm still looking for the elusive Pineapple...
anyone have one for sale?
Whassat?
Ah, the Pineapple was the first Apple II clone, and it was a beauty. It
reminds me of a Franklin 1000 -wide and sturdy. If I have my story correct,
these were built from kits which were shipped in individually from Taiwan.
They tried to send a container load but Apple caught a whiff of it and got a
court order to put a stop to that. I've seen one, and it was really a
beautiful computer, especially compared to some of those cheap Apple II
clones that came later on.
I want an Apricot or a PCjr, myself. I have the
original King's Quest, just
need to play it on a PCjr so I can hear how the music sounded.
Don't you love those prorietary programs. You do know that there are
versions for other, easier to find systems.
