It _is_ based on a 6502-compatible CPU, but it's part of a single chip,
mask programemd ROM containign the firmware on the same chip and no
access AFAIK to any of the buses. Oh, and siad chip is direct-on-board,
epoxy-capped. Not the easiest thing to hack IMHO.
