I have to admit I don't remember a 7429 either.
The only things
around that is a FIFO series 7429-xx I think with up to 4k, and
a bunch of drivers, named 7429xxx.
www.sphere.bc.ca has some for sale, and chipdir lists the part. Apparently
it's used in some Tek equipment (Tek # 156-0281-00).
