International editions of the textbooks are cheaper. Usually published in
paperback and on thinner paper, etc. We have many international students
here at UTA, many from India. They almost always have international editions
of their texts that they buy over there and bring with them. I am not sure
of the difference, but I think it must be substantial. Less than 50% of the
price of the standard edition I am sure.
