Why is it that a group so obsessed with old technology can't accept
the possibility that another old technology is making a comeback? If
you don't believe me, fine, spend a little time researching the
subject. CD sales are down, yet digital AND vinyl sales are up. Is
this just a momentary blip? Those who make their living selling them
would like to know. One theory is it is a backlash to not actually
owning a physical object when you buy a music download. Many of the
people purchasing LP's weren't even born when the CD was introduced.
BTW, I do agree that CD's are dying. I typically listen to them once
on the stereo before loading them into iTunes.
