There was an article in IIRC Forbes Magazine describing Fry's. The nutshell
description was they didn't hire knowledgeable salespeople because their
customers probably knew more than the sales people, and they have the H&H
factor in place (Hoops & Hurdles) when customers want to return or exchange
something. I gather the idea was to put enough pain into the return process
that customers would think twice about returning merchandise.
