so group #3, who aren't using the software, are now happy because
they have somehow purified the world in some abstract and
hypthetical way. group #2, including me, are now harmed materially.
some in group #1 have also lost something, although they won't
realize that a year from now when they ask the list for a boot disk
to machine xyz and it isn't available.
So far I've stayed out of all of this. I've been tempted to point
out as others have, that Dave's code, and that he can do whatever he
wants with it. At the same time, I've not been interested in his
software, as far as I know, it's mainly targeted at systems that I
don't have much interest in, HOWEVER, I do see the value in it.
Group #3 really ticks me off, and as far as I'm concerned they
*always* do more harm than good.
