Replacement for Google's broken Usenet group search

I also use eternal september, but just for 5 newsgroups. As an example, the number of posts JUST in November are: comp.sys.dec 15 (1 cross posted) with 2055 (back to June 3, 2009) 779 KB alt.sys.pdp11 4 (4 cross posted) with 528 (back to June 14, 2012) 222 KB vmsnet.pdp-11 5 (4 cross posted) with 116 (back to June 17, 2012) 63 KB The external september server may allow access to text ONLY newsgroups, but I am not sure. Certainly, the storage requirements are small, the combined total storage for the 3 examples is just over 1 MB. There is at least one other server which I use as well - the retention is a bit over 10% for the first 2 groups and almost identical for the third group. Jerome Fine
