I cannot find a date on the book although a guess of 5/1983 could be right
I cannot find your part number in it
Nor does it fit the part numbering system pages
The only part with 300 as part of its number is LM100/LM300 (voltage regulator)
but that comes in either a 10 pin flatpack, TO99 can or dice
