Yes, it's nowhere near as robust as, say, a PDP-11/70. :-)
There have been several on eBay in the last nine
months, ranging from
$4500
to $12500. The most recent two have not sold yet.
And remember, CMI fans, that is a big hunk of money for a synth that
will give you maintenance headaches on a weekly basis.
