The DM160 is a European (Philips/Mullard) number and
it's quite common in
European paper tape equipment, instrument control systems, etc over here.
Was it commonly used _with that number_ in the States?
It had a industrial number of 6977 as well, but most commonly I've seen it called
the DM160 even here in the states.
The Soviet equivalent is the IV-15.
All seem to be readily available today from a number of sources (e.g. tube houses, E-bay,
etc.)
