You mean *east* of Portland. 70 miles west of Portland is extremely wet and
salty, not at all suitable for use or storage of a Kaypro II.
If you think Goldendale is in the middle of nowhere, you should try Moses
Lake.
Over 20,000 people, apparently - quite a bit more than Goldendale (or my
nearest town).
We wanted to stop a little south of you to
see Maryhill Stonehenge, but it was too dark by the time we got there. I'll
have to visit it on a future trip.
Hopefully it's a bit less touristy and commercialized than the real thing :)
