Its the wrong number of pins and the wrong physical
size (too big for
the 2648A).
Oh good lord, how embarassing. You said 2648A and my brain was locked
thinking paper tape reader. Total brain lock on my part. Sorry.
You're talking about the connector that goes to the back of the terminal's
async card. That is NOT the standard HP I/O connector, like you see in the
rear of an HP cpu. I'll take the standard HP I/O connectors off your hands
that you got from ebay ;)
