Nearly all the old menu-based content probably did vanish 10 years
ago. The dial-up networking, the octal PPNs, the e-mail addresses,
the custom apps like the airline flight crew housing and city check-in
system - those have been working perfectly the whole time. The 36-bit
Systems Concepts machines in Upper Arlington, Ohio (the former
CompuServe headquarters) that kept it all going were what was shut
down last week.
