I did find that tinkering with a byte in the boot sector of the 40-
track floppy Joyce, I could get it to boot and recognize a 720K 3.5"
drive as such.
One interesting thing is that the Joyce has *no* native text mode.
Until you boot a system that can generate characters, there is no
text display.
Some of the Japanese Z80 boxes boasted dual CPUs and 640x400 16-color
displays. It's a shame that more hasn't been written on them. Or
for that matter, the 6809-based Japanese PCs.
