Good point.
By that time, the 8 bit MS-DOS machines (8088) were being replaced by 16
bit (80286).
That kind of cuts into the demand for a Z80 machine.
OTOH, if MSX had come out 5+ years earlier, it could have supplanted
CP/M, due to similar specs, and standardized disk format!.
I once asked Gary Kildall, "With all of the machines going to smaller
drives, what format is the standard for 5.25 inch ?"
He replied "8 inch single density."
