OK, but seriously, here's a much more realistic idea: SIMH on a
Raspberryi Pi connected to each device you want to control.
Interfacing SIMH with the Pi's GPIO is left as an exercise for the
reader :^)

I like FPGA's better, that way you have REAL bugs and REAL hardware.
Faster is not always better for classic OS's.
