While most don't fall into your requirements (too lazy to go look at
the original e-mail), but the following programs are good at working
with ITA2 "Baudot" signals:
1. MMTTY -- works on Windows, does AFSK
2. fldigi -- works on roughly everything and it's mother, does AFSK,
and with some work can also produce an audio signal that can be easily
made into RS-232; but it won't receive with that method
3. HeavyMetal -- works on Windows, directly outputs RS-232, but I
don't think it can receive, only transmit
And for shits and giggles:
4. T-52d Simulator -- works on Windows (3.1 even); can directly output
ITA2 from an RS-232 port... unfortunately it's a simulator of a German
telecipher device from WWII... sooo yeah, you'll need either a real
T52d on the other end, or another copy of the simulator.
Cheers,
