The amusing thing about BASIC was the assumption of programmers that
low ram was available as scratch memory. poke peek poke style.
The moment it ran on a 3rd party vendor clone BASIC, it would often
(not always) blow up.
COMPAQ and Hyperion Dynalogic solved this by relocating the BASIC at
run time to high memory. ick ick icky poo. But amusing.
