I was, I know
no one is making new C-1541 drives. Though I'm looking
into building a 1541-III drive...
This CBM know-nothing is curious why a 1541 would be better than a
1571?
This CBM know-something doesn't understand that either :) the 1571 is much
less prone to alignment problems and can be easily coerced into reading many
more formats. It is a very versatile disk drive.
