Hi,
The Macintosh models up through the Macintosh Plus
were closed.
They didn't document the internal video interface because you weren't
supposed to open the box....
Absolutely, Apple's position with those machines was always that they were
designed as an _appliance_ - you plugged it in, switched it on, and used
it....exactly the same way you use a kettle or a VCR.
This has been documented MANY times.
