What a steal: turning perhaps $100 million of debt
from pre-purchased gift cards into a matching-grant program
to get another $100 million for their overpriced stuff :-/
And of course their margins are probably large enough, where the
matching cash actually pays for all of the products, and gift cards are
more or less thrown away.
You think are getting a deal, but in fact are just not overpaying as
much as you normally do.
