No, it's more like when you would do a CLOAD command to load from
tape...the CPU then spends it's time moving servos, activating relays,
and reading/writing data. Once it's done, it goes back to the command
shell.
Although it sounds like a fun project, I would skip
this and go for a
simple solution.
