Relatively common, but DEC original. Don't plug a PS/2 mouse in! :) 8-bit graphics would have a set of 3 boards. How many
boards in your
framebuffer setup? If you have one, it's mono. Two is -- I think --
4 bit color.
I believe what he is describing, is mono.
